   Cocerns about public consultation can be dealt with on the press level, it's   
   the wave of insular   
   community groups and even quangos that limit information and election   
   knowledge to the very   
   few who are members and the members also keep it within their circle.   
      
   You ever get a mailer about debates, meetings, or any special event with   
   Candidates or that   
   Candidates will get blamed for and don't know if they are like most people?   
   In most people, I suggest, are not as "community involved" as these insular   
   groups are,   
   they are fully independent or are not hugely dedicated to politics like those   
   who treat it   
   like a career.   
   I imagine these groups don't release a lot of limited meetings and debates to   
   many of you   
   either, at least not until they need you to show up and you can't give the   
   info away to outsiders.
