It's clear that the evil of the mark/number is in willingly accepting it to
show one's allegiance to the beast (i.e. trusting the Beast's economic
provision rather than God's promised provision ("if even the bird & flowers
have enough, why wouldn't you?")

One interesting booklet I read in '85 linked the number to UPC codes.

The second halfd of the code is Source. You'll not the 6 is two skinny
lines, & you'll see these two skinny lines at the beginning, centre, & right
end of the printed numbers.

But that presumes that 666 refers to 6, 6, & a 3rd 6, when, as I pointed out
earlier, it's actually a single number (six hundred, sixty & six)

"You'll know them by their fruits"; those on God'sa side exhibit the fruits
of the spirit (not every persoin exhibits every fruit at all times, but if
there's a clesr paucity, you might want to consider whether you'll be in
communion with them)

One of my teachers (Presbyterian pastor) taught me, regarding the Toronto
Blessing (people rolling in the aisles, barking, screaming, peeing
themselves, speaking in tongues, supposedly in holy spirit ecstasy) that they
obviously lacked, to a person, the fruit of self control. . . he couldn't
reconcile this with them being true Christians.

Makes sense.

These big holy roller screamfests are certainly doing a good job of
recruitment -- but for who?

We are not to go chasing signs or wonders, but to trust in the Lord our God
Whom we know, directly, in our souls.

Keep the faith, my friend. . walk with strength & protection. . .
