 > Have you tried OLMS2000 for EleBBS? I've heard it works well with EleBBS. RT> Yes i know that door also, but what i dont like it that it has no RT> protocols build in.... personally speaking, i've grown to dislike built-in xfer protocol engines... why? they cannot be adjusted like some of the external ones... some internal ones are too tight in their timings because they were built for dedicated channels like POTS where delays are not as long as they may be on network channels that may be carrying a lot more traffic than POTS channels carried... over the years, i've found only a few external xfer protocol engines that actually work properly on both POTS and network channels... as time has gone by, i've slowly turned off those internal protocol engines and configured my software to use only the external ones... but it takes time and a lot of testing... what may work on an internal LAN may be just slightly too tight to work on WAN traffic from the outside ;) )\/(ark * Origin: (1:3634/12) |
