XPost: school.general, sac.general, alt.politics.democrats       XPost: alt.gossip.celebrities       From: losers@dnc.org              A former Florida 6th grade science teacher is accused of       repeatedly trying to lure a 12-year-old student into lewd acts       with her, showering him with gifts and professions of her love.              Andrea Jimenez, 47, turned herself into police on Friday on       charges of lewd and lascivious assault on a child, reports CNN.              While Jimenez taught at Doral International Math and Science       Academy, she allegedly began messaging one of her students over       social media, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by WPTV       in West Palm Beach.              On the last day of the school year in May 2018, she allegedly       tried to kiss him and took to social media to message him over       the summer. She even downloaded several apps to speak to him in       what police described as "aggressively romantic in an obsessive       tone,” according to the affidavit.              “I will go to hell for u. Die for u stop eating to feed u. My       love for u is so real and huge !!! I don’t mind facing the devil       himself for u,” one alleged message read, according to WPTV.              Jimenez also bought gifts for the child as she pleaded with him       not to talk to girls his own age, authorities allege.              The boy’s parents saw some of the messages, which led to the       teacher’s arrest, CNN reports. Jimenez also allegedly asked       boy’s mother for forgiveness and said she was embarrassed.              Jimenez has been released from jail after posting $17,500 bond.       It’s unclear if she has a lawyer who can speak on her behalf at       this time.              A school spokesperson told WPTV that Jimenez was no longer       employed as a teacher in light of the arrest.              https://www.oxygen.com/crime-time/andrea-jimenez-florida-teacher-       allegedly-tried-to-lure-12-year-old-student-with-gifts-       professions-of-love                      --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
