I'd say that you're filling up three vehicles instead of just one. Do
you consider that more than if you had only one vehicle that ran on
something other than an oil derivative fuel?

If you had a big home with a huge yard and lawn, and your neighbour had
a small home with a small lawn or no lawn, and you both watered your
lawns in summer - which of you would be using the greatest amount of a
   natural resource?

Your "three vehicles" are the big home, ya stupid person.
