      XPost: can.politics, ab.politics, edm.general              A poll by Mainstreet Technologies suggests Tuesday’s vote will not be       business       as usual.              â€śThe dynasty in Alberta will come to an end on Tuesday with the election of       an       NDP government, what seemed like the unlikeliest outcome, is now the only       possible outcome,” read the Mainstreet release. “We know from our previous       polling that over 75 per cent of Albertans wanted a change in government and       they will get it.”                     Ryan Tumilty/Metro NDP leader Rachel Notley speaks to a crowd of supporters in       Edmonton.              Special: All of Metro’s Alberta Election coverage              A poll by Mainstreet Technologies suggests Tuesday’s vote will not be       business       as usual.              â€śThe dynasty in Alberta will come to an end on Tuesday with the election of       an       NDP government, what seemed like the unlikeliest outcome, is now the only       possible outcome,” read the Mainstreet release. “We know from our previous       polling that over 75 per cent of Albertans wanted a change in government and       they will get it.”               The poll found 73 per cent of decided voters in Edmonton will vote NDP while       in Calgary 35 per cent of voters will back the Notley crew.              The poll surveyed 3,413 Albertans and has a margin of error of plus or minus       1.85 per cent 19 times out of 20.              Other highlights:              â€“ 47 per cent of Liberal voters will back the NDP if there is no Liberal       candidate in their district.              â€“ Outside of Edmonton and Calgary, the NDP take the lead at 39 per cent to 33       per cent over the Wildrose, with PCs at 22 per cent.              â€“ 39 per cent of Alberta Party voters will back the NDP if there is no       Alberta       Party candidate in their district              â€“ But 32 per cent of Albertans believe the PC Party will win the election,       while 29 per cent are vouching for an NDP win.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
