My family moved here in 1905 my grandmother mother father and myself went to
the same school so I know a little Calgary history. I do know that back in the
60's the Pink Panther was a go-go club . Girls danced in cages with the white
   boots and mini
dresses I know I was one but there was no stripping going on at that time . My
bf owned the club so I could dance all night and not be bothered while he
   worked

Give you a little history you don't find in the Glenbow Museum Do you know
where the hookers took their johns in the 1930's ? During the "Dirty 30's
there were several women who had to turn to the streets as they couldn't find
   jobs if they didn't have
someone to help them. There was no welfare back then. The women use to sit in
Chinatown and drink coffee the soldiers, mostly soldiers would come in and
they would go to Centre Street hill and have a little fun In the 40's several
   girls lived in the
Commercial Block on 7th Avenue and 1st
