|    Scott Moe demonstrates how to talk from     |

Last week he was making these noises with regards British Columbia's       government filing for a decision from the Appeals level of the Supreme Court       of BC on the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion:       _______________              Premier Scott Moe says Saskatchewan is considering following Alberta’s lead       to block oil and gas shipments to British Columbia due to B.C.’s opposition       to the expansion of Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Pipeline.              “We are looking at what legislation in Alberta may look like with respect to       turning the taps off, if you will, on Alberta energy heading to British       Columbia,” Moe said Wednesday.              “We support that legislation as it comes to fruition. We’ll look at       legislation here too if need be to ensure we are not filling the gap, if you       will.”              https://globalnews.ca/news/4139014/premier-scott-moe-says-sask-a       so-considering-cutting-b-c-off-from-gas-over-pipeline-delay/       _____________________              Seems he's onside with Trudeau and Notley in forcing their dirty oil through       BC and into our waters.              But then, when Trudeau goes to impose a carbon tax onto Saskatchewan, all of a       sudden Moe is filing an Appeal to the highest court in his own province to       challenge Ottawa's right to impose the tax:       __________              The Saskatchewan government is asking the province's Appeal Court to rule on       whether Ottawa can impose a carbon tax but the federal government says it is       confident it will prevail.              Saskatchewan wants to know whether Ottawa's plan to bring in a carbon price       for provinces that don't have one violates the Constitution.              Premier Scott Moe's government has consistently fought against the carbon tax,       arguing the province's own climate-change plans are sufficient to reduce       emissions.              "Our constitutional challenge asserts that the provincial government, not the       federal government, has the constitutional authority to set our policy in this       area," Moe said at a news conference announcing the challenge Wednesday.              "Provinces are not subsidiaries of the federal government and in Saskatchewan       we have a plan. Our plan reduces emissions without a carbon tax."              The province said it wants a ruling by the end of the year and is prepared to       go to the Supreme Court if needed.              https://www.nationalobserver.com/2018/04/27/news/carbon-court-sa       katchewan-seeks-court-appeal-ruling-federal-carbon-tax       ___________________________              No right for BC to challenge Trudeau's edicts, but okay for Saskatchewan to do       it?              Hmm...... when 'the shoe is on the other foot', eh, Mr Moe?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
