Oh yeah.. well, he's got his tell-all scheduled for release on  
Jan 10.  But shops in Spain started selling it sooner.

As a bookseller, I would loose my privilege to sell books from  
that publisher if I ever released a book that had a strict  
embargo date.  Dunno, how the shops in Spain will be unaffected  
by their relationship with the distributor. Sounds like the  
leak was intentional.
