FRANCAIS existed since long ago. It was still available on Janis' system.
I've rescanned it from one of my links. It seems it was quite dead (at least
this century), and last message is from 2015.

BTW there was also another French echo, FRANCENET, that I've found in old
areafix messages from the late 90s. (No idea if it had traffic.)
