The white colour is the result of a bleeching process. And most  
paper products (including newspapers) include formeldahyde.

Dunno about Euro TP but in NA it is designed to desintegrate  
into a pulpy mess almost immediately upon getting wet.  Seems  
like a foolish choice to use as a coffee filter. There would  
certainly be little bits of paper fiber and toxins mixed with  
the coffee.
