They're still not agreed across all provinces on when this holiday should be
-- so if you're off work in one province & ghope to connect with family for a
long weekend in another province, it'll only be possible if they're in one of
the  ones you named. . .

I have no problem with the holiday in principle, but it would be nice to
enact  it federally so as to have consistency. . . & give our hard-working
posties a  paid day off (yeah, I know I got to help pay for it, but I get my
own paid day  off, too, when I'm working FT anyhow)

It can feel a long unbroken stretch between New Year's Day & Easter, so a 
February holiday makes sense. . .
