Wasn't is Sweden (or was it Switzerland) that conducted an all- 
digital trial for several months or up to a year, and it was  
considered a failure and unfeasible in the long run?

I don't see all digital to succeed. What would happen during an  
outtage when cell towers are down and the electrical system is  
down?  How will people arrange to get supplies/food?

All digital will certainly be to the gov't/tax advantage.

Perhaps the resultant economy will be a mix of a country's CBDC  
and one of the cryptos.  The public just has to embrace one of  
the cryptos for "personal/private" transactions.

I concur.  But there is more of us than the big earners.   
Combined, the small earner incomes vastly out number the few  
big earner incomes?  And of course, politicians park themselves  
in the big earner category and would want to protect themselves  
from scrutiny.
