AA>I get get at least two of those every month. I used to get more of them, and lately they usually were not a fantastic deal but this one is the best I've seen. AA>The 5G is the big draw, but obviously you will only get what >the nearby towers (and our phone) can support. Yes, my phone is 6+ years old so doesn't support 5G and being out here in the middle of nowhere, I doubt any of the towers near here have 5G built into them, but I could be wrong. Maybe Bell Mobility has upgraded more frequentlt than the Bell Land Lines have. That said, living in 'cottage country' means a lot of trees everywhere and hilly country and 5G doesn't work very well with any kind of obstacles in the way, plus you are often quite a few miles from a tower and I don't think 5G works from nearly as far from a tower as 4G does.. RM> I wonder if Bell locks in a plan like that forever or if they RM> can change the price on it later? AA>I doubt that it would lock in like Lucky does it. Check the >small print for "we reserve the right to increase monthly >charges" ..or something like that. I know that relatives of mine with Rogers Phone plans have Rogers begging and bribing them to change their plans because they no longer want to offer the plan they've had for years, but only recently has anyone I know well been using Bell, other than Lucky so I wasn't sure. I suppose I could call them and ask but probably shouldn't waste the time if I'm not going to switch over. A quick search online says that a lot of people have complained that supposedly fixed Bell rates were changed on them, but it was suggested it doesn't happen very often. That said, with a good deal like this one it would probably be prone to price increases once they get you sucked in.. AA>BTW... your SLMR.. ...cuts the subject line short: I've noticed that the odd time. I wasn't sure if it just showed that way on my end or if it totally loses the cut part..
