I got this one a couple days ago.. 433222 "Lucky: Here's an exclusive offer from our friends at Bell who have monthly plans on Canada's fastest 5G+ network. Get 40 GB at 5G+ speeds, unlimited Canada-wide talk/text & U.S. calling from Canada for $30/mo. with your own phone (price includes $10/mo. Autopay credit). Call 1 866 820-5230 with code 7JFRHAM or visit a Bell store by September 7. ( luckym.ca/msgprefs ) ( bell.ca/messagesettings )" 2025-08-14 11:58:38 I don't like the way Bell uses "credit" to make it look like you're "saving" $omething. The $10/mo credit means that they bill you at at $40, you get taxed on that, and then they deduct $10. And.. they probably reserve the right to remove the credit at any time, thus avoiding blame for "changing the plan" when the core plan is $40. It is sick marketing strategy. Maybe RM> Bell Mobility has upgraded more frequentlt than the Bell Land RM> Lines have. My main phone is a Blackberry Q10, circa 2012! :D Works fine on the Lucky LTE network. RM> ..with a good deal like this one it would probably be RM> prone to price increases once they get you sucked in.. I would bet that they *do* increase the prices. That is Bell's way. :( AA>> BTW... your SLMR.. ...cuts the subject line short: RM> The joys of using 30 year old programs on your computer.. B) RM> (I have to run this in Dos Box..) You might like to look into OpenXP. It would make your connection operate as a point, and you benefit from having all messages stored into a database for easy search and lookup later. I built https://openxp.kolico.ca to help promote it.
