I've only had it happen once where I received both a reply to an echomail
message and then also a local message on my board complaining about a tagline
I used.  It was in reference to Jesus and I guess he found it insensitive. 
This was back in the late 90s.

What's funny is, most of the taglines I added to messages were randomly
selected and added automatically.  After more than one person pointed out that:

A. That was not part of my message
B. It was randomly selected

He calmed down a bit after that, but still asked that I remove that tagline
from my taglines list...

The offending tagline can be found at the bottom of this message.
