I don't know what it is anymore... it seemed like it used to only be the
"fuddy-duddies" that did this... but it seems like more and more people are
filtering events through a "how can I be offended by this" or "how can this
be a part of some conspiracy against..." filter rather applying logic to
what is going on around them and filtering out things that don't apply
to them at all.
