It doesn't matter what religion.
Religions of all kinds have been used as excuses for bloodshed and the
scrabbling for power since time immortal.
Those who don't fanatically belive they are doing the work of their God,
will manipulate the fanatics to do what they want.
I'm not saying Religion is bad. I'm saying fanatics are bad and taint the
name of that particular religion.
I myself have belifes. But I am not going to kill, or even influance or
judge someone while holding them up to my personal belifes.
Because that is Wrong.
The Bible is a book of stories, designed to guide us to be good people. It
was not written by God. It was written with the hands of men. Things like
being married before having sex makes sense, because if no one had sex
except with a spouse, then there would be no Sexually Transmitted diseases
at all. I'm not saying if it's pratical, I'm just saying it has a certain
hidden logic to it.
I suppose you could sum up what I feel in these phrases.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Mind your own business.
Everyone is human.

I'm done. But if you want to see some of my thoughts on certain parts of the
bible, then keep reading...
These are just off the top of my head. And before you ask, I'm not
Christian or Catholic or Jewish or Athest, or Scientologist, or Satanist.
Only sleep with your spouse (no adultery, no premarital) = eliminates STDs
No Incest = no gene damage
Killing a beast that is a killer and not eating its flesh = it could have
been diseased to attack a human (rabies, Mad Cow)
Don't Covet/Thinking of sin is as bad as sin = If you don't banish certain
thoughts from your head, you may be more likely to do something that harms
others.
There are hundreds of others that have certain logics to them, but I can't
remember them all. (oh an interesting note, the Bible only says man may not
sleep with man, but it says nothing about woman sleeping with woman...)
