   Yes, though it's not actual damage. It's fatigue to the diaphragm that   
   persists until it's too weak to continue functioning in that position. You   
   can, at first, try to push up with your feet to get out of that position,   
   but you get too tired to keep doing that pretty soon.   
      
   It's not so much suffocation in the classical sense so much as it's an   
   inability to get the lungs to continue expanding/deflating.   
      
   And I have no idea how to express that in game stat terms.
