   I am not absolutely sure, but I do not believe it would be legal. In order   
   to steal them, you would first have to detach them from the owner, which   
   could be construed as assault causing bodily harm. However, it would   
   probably be OK to take them from the morgue, although you do not tell us   
   what state you are in and that could very well vary from one state to   
   another.
