   There was a letter to the editor in Scientific American several months ago by a   
   biologist who, having tasted snake for the first time, realized that yes,   
   indeed, it tasted more like chicken than like mammals. He raised the question   
   that perhaps the taste of modern animal flesh could be used as sort of   
   primitive   
   analysis of the protein structure and the relatedness of various types of   
   animals.   
      
   I just think that A-1 sauce is an attempt to make cow taste like elk.
