   The lead helps seal and lubricant the valves in piston engines.  It also   
   helps prevent 'ping' preignition in the cylinders with higher compression.   
   If you have a lower compression then you would need more displacement ... a   
   big engine to produce the same amount of house power in turn burning more   
   fuel anyway.  But instead the yelling at people, read up on engines and   
   think of some whys to make more efficient engines at 10% atmosphere pressure   
   or just buy everyone a jet.  Also a car engine don't last anywhere as long   
   as an aircraft engine too, car burn 80% of oil reserves well all of aviation   
   including airlines only use 1%.
