|    Is there any intelligent life out there?    |

From: pwdingle@hotmail.com               Check. Check one, two. Check one, two.               Anybody other than the cross posting, numbnut net kooks still out there?       Yah, I know. A line like that will probably just attract them but what the       heck.               I've followed this group for many years. Seen a lot of kooks (surely       some folks remember "Amero" and company) but there used to be some       intelligent threads. Some heated , some boring but most relatively       interesting. Majority actually related to the Canadian Military Community.               As an experiment, I cleared my blocked senders list (it was getting quite       large), reset the newsgroup and then synchronized. Of approx 800+ messages,       there appeared to be only 30 ( + or - ) that were:       a) relevant to can.community.military;       b) were only sent to this newsgroup, not cross posted to multiple groups;       and       c) were sent by intelligent, rationale people (Andrew, Paul, Nomad, Dave,       Maria - apologies if I've missed some).               Given the likes of Top Poster, the Doctor, Smartypants and company it       looks like this particular forum is no longer worth following, thus time to       sign off.               Been a slice folks. Safe surfing, safe travels. For those that are       actually associated with the CF (or at least support us) I wish you all the       best.              --       Peter W Dingle, CD       VVV                                                                                                                 Noticed that Andrew, Paul, Nomad, Dave are still around              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
