   No, it was designed that way.  And if you knew anything about engineering,   
   or anything about structures like this you would know they are supposed to   
   pancake like they did on structural failure due to being bombed with a plane   
   and fuel.  And while the heat from furniture fires could be anticipated, the   
   addition of fuel with open air sources allowed a very high temperature burn   
   that was not anticipated.   
      
   Nor could it be.  It would be cost prohibitive to build our societies   
   structures to withstand aircraft used by terrorists.  In fact, I don't know   
   of too many buildings that would have lasted as long.   
      
   Once the superstructure was heated, it weakens the steel.  Once one floor   
   collapses with 30 floors above it like a hammer, the rest fall straight   
   down.   
      
   This is intentional as falling sideways would be much more disastrous and   
   could cause a lot more death and damages.   
      
   But then the cranks out there are too stupid to see this.  Now what is hard   
   to understand about this?  The real problem is terrorists.  Kill them, and   
   problem solved.
