   The bride and I are going to FL for 10 days in January.  Just for shits and   
   giggles I called the Air Nat Guard at Bangor (Maine) airport and spoke to   
   the Security Police about being permitted to park there vice at the airport   
   itself.  The Sgt I spoke to said Canadian military/retired military are more   
   than welcome...and get this, when I asked if there was a taxi service to tpt   
   us to the airport, he said no...but an MP (SP) patrol will drive us over   
   ....wow...and pick us up when the flight comes back to Bangor...double   
   wow...so any of you ex CF types living in the Maritimes who want a safe (and   
   free) place to park...the Air Guard is there for you.  By the way, the rtn   
   flight to Orlando was going to be $1500 for both of us from Canada...from   
   bangor..$700.
