Wow, now that's a concept with a stretch. You still think that "western
   democracy has
freedom of speech/expression"? You haven't been watching the number of laws
   that have
been creeping in qualifying what is or isn't allowed - by people who have
   influenced our
governments into passing those laws. And you think that someone 'pissing or
   spitting on
military monuments' will go free if they're caught in the act? Not in THIS
   'free and
   democratic' country, they won't.

Now the likes of Israel and the U.S. and of course, their flunky Harper, are
   in the
process of stopping anyone from criticising the actions of Israel as an act of
"anti-semitism". We're about to lose the right to say that Israel stealing
   land from
Palestinians or tearing down Palestinian homes to build Israeli 'housing
   units' - is wrong
   and needs to be stopped.

We lost our freedom to speech/expression when we voted in rightwing
   governments whose
basic tenet is: 'We know what's best for you and you will obey our will'.
