He started around 1910 and was       instrumental in building the navy up to be the third largest navy in the world       at the end of WWII. Have seen Photos of him in same picture as Prime Minister       William Lyon Mackenzie        King, Sir Winston Churchill and President Franklin D. Roosevelt!!
