   I have for sale the Canadian Publication, out-of-print, 1st edition   
   hardcover book "The Habs" An Oral History of the Montreal Canadiens   
   1940-1980" by long time Hockey Night In Canada broadcaster Dick Irvin   
   (1991). The 1st Edition contains 350 pages of text as well as vintage black   
   and white photographs profiling the Montreal Canadiens Hockey organization   
   from 1940-1980.   
   Front Jacket Excerpt:   
   "On March 17, 1940, the Montreal Canadiens concluded the worst season in   
   their long history. The Canadiens had won only ten of forty-eight games and   
   were on the verge of going out of business. Then, through the next forty   
   years, the Montreal Canadiens became the most successful franchise in all   
   sports. "THE HABS" is and oral history of those forty years."   
   Included are chapters: "The First Hero, The Punch Line, The Rocket's Goal,   
   The Rocket's Riot, Toe Takes Over, The Old Gang Breaks Up, The Leafs Last

   included in the Edition is a "Selected Team and Individual Statistics,   
   1917-18, 1990-91". Included on the front jacket are full-color photographs   
   of Montreal Canadiens' Jacques Plante, Ken Dryden, Jean Beliveau, Guy   
   Lafleur, Doug Harvey, Frank Mahovlich, John Ferguson, Henri Richard,   
   Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Larry Robinson, and many more.
