The Canadian edition contains       309 pages including vintage black and white photographs profiling Howie       meeker's views on the game.       Front Jacket Excerpt:       "Howie Meeker knows hockey. For 50 years, he's played, coached, managed,       and commented on the game, and he's never been shy about voicing his       thoughts       in "Stop It There, Back It Up!", Howie remembers the gentlemen of the game,       such as Hap Day, Jean Beliveau, and Foster Hewitt, the notorious Eddie       Shore, and the wild Eddie Shack. He gives us a replay of the dramatic       Canada-Soviet series of 1972, which he witnessed first-hand from the       broadcast booth.
