   Your TV has both DVD and VHS players integrated into it?   
      
   Who makes it?  Candle?   
      
   The DVD player probably can't handle wide-screen / letter-box format   
   DVD's.   
      
   If I recall, TV's that had integrated DVD / VHS players were somewhat   
   small - maybe had 14" screens at most.  Intended to be used for retail   
   displays to play promotional product videos.  If you have one of those,   
   I suggest you give it away on e-bay or kijiji or use it as a boat anchor   
   and get yourself something thats more watchable.
