   I don't think it's a matter of trust.   
      
   It's a matter of utility.   
      
   How popular is/was DSLR as a "hub" for the forums it hosted?  Is there   
   any more popular web-forum anywhere (even fecesbook) for the material   
   being discussed on it?   
      
   Wouldn't a lot of IT people be drawn to the site?  Wouldn't that make it   
   popular for IT-related advertising?
