   Now those are interesting profiles.  I run into a lot of companies that are   
   interested in online (oops, that's "cloud") backup solutions but look at me   
   in astonishment when I explain that their DSL or cable service uplink speed   
   means that it will be many months and possibly a shoebox full of large   
   denomination currency before the inital backup is completed.   
      
   So... what's the monthly transfer cap?   
      
   (An acquaintance of mine recently received a promotion which involved more   
   working from home, and his employer paid to upgrade his cable internet for   
   him... but the monthly cap meant that he'd be paying overage fees if he used   
   that upgraded service at its advertised speed for as little as 10 hours per   
   month!)

   Rationality is not a significant driving force in telecom pricing.
