I used to turn up a lot higher on most searches back when I was actively
updating the site, and was advertising those updates on Usenet.

I'm not; the site costs me money to maintain. The Donations request on my
Contact page has netted me a whopping $42 in 4 years (a lady once donated
$3). I'm a technician, not a businessman, otherwise I'd be rich by now, and
I wouldn't be asking for advice on what to do here...

I can tell you that NONE of this occurred to me, which is why I'm lousy at
   business.

I really don't feel like loading my site with snitch-code, so I'm wondering
if I should just tell the guy: This is what I want, take it or leave it.
