Does TORIX really need to note every sin

Inspired by JF's heroic attempt to make the Kate Middleton picture thread
relevant to can.internet.highspeed, I decided to check out the TORIX MRTG
web page. On their landing page, they have two new records (91 and 92 Gbps)
from September 18th, three from the 17th, four from the 11th, four from the
4th, etc. Anyone remember whether any of those coincide with the release
   of any of the pictures?

But I wonder: is it *really* worth making a new entry - sometimes more than
one per day - to reflect an increment that's approaching 1%? When you've
been at, say, 10 Gbps for a while and you hit 11 (like around four years
ago), maybe it's worth noting every new 1 Gbps increment as those represent
10% increases. Then again, four years ago new peer announcements were about
as common, on average, as new 1 Gbps high water marks; today the landing
page announces only 1 Gbps increments and one "New Website Unveiled" going
back almost two years. (To be fair, if you click "Read More" you will see a
new peer announcement dating back only a little more than a year.)

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate TORIX and I guess that the internet is just
business as usual these days so we shouldn't expect game-changing news very
often any more, but it just seems to be as silly as someonw writing "I'm 24
years 8 months and 3 days old today" every day on Facebook.
