From: Some@Guy.com              If I cancel any or all TV packages on my (Rogers) cable service, and if       later I decide to subscribe to an internet service through cable       (internet provided either by Rogers or Tek Savvy), is it technically       possible for Rogers to install a filter that would block any of the       available TV channels (be they digital ATSC or legacy NTSC) ???              Rogers still has many analog TV channels from 2 through 70 still active       where I am, and I get a few digital channels without going through a       converter box (some of those digital channels are un-encrypted PPV and       On-demand). I'm wondering if I would still get those channels if I       cancelled my cable TV service but later opted for internet-over-cable.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
