From: Human@Being.com              Honesty and Ethics in the Telecom Industry       Posted by: rednek              So this has been a big topic as of late.              We have a company selling FTTH when all the can knowingly provide is       FTTN.              Others have been irked by the seemingly never-ending *'s in ads       nowadays.              Have another company that is selling a product, calling it Fiber when it       is no such thing.              Yet another company changing their customer's underlying service       provider without notifying them while charging a different group of       customers $20 for the same move that they are giving away (whether those       customers want it or not) to the first group.              The list goes on and on.              Why does it seem so difficult to have a little honesty in this industry?       Maybe I'm just getting old (if I start saying "back in my day" shoot me       now please lol) but it seems to be getting worse and not better.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
