   When western governments have to spend more time, energy and money   
   dealing with these refugees, that means less money goes to Israel in the   
   form of foreign aid (US gives Isreal billions a year in aid).   
      
   How was Syria a problem for Isreal back 4 or 5 years ago?   
      
   Syria was the most "christian" arab country in the neighborhood.  Why   
   would Isreal be so keen to see Syria be re-made in the image of Wahabist   
   Saudi Arabia?
