   New ISP/DSL line, Speedtest nearest server location way off?   
   I just switched to VMedia 50/10 FTTN from CIK Telecom 150/15 cable (who   
   I caught throttling to 2Mbps down, avoid). I've noticed Speedtest.net   
   now lists Kitchener/Waterloo servers as the nearest to me, when it was   
   Toronto/North York previously (I'm in North York), and my ping is higher   
   as well. I tried asking tech support where the hub is located, and they   
   would only say it was "with Bell".   
      
   Is something fishy going on here? Is my connection being routed   
   sub-optimally by the ISP?
