   Project Manager, SAP - 1 Year Contract   
      
      
      
   Terms of Reference:   
   The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the   
   activities of project teams of between 3-10 individuals. Project teams will   
   comprise of resources from the business, Information Technology Services   
   (ITS) and external contractors.   
      
      
      
   The Project Manager will also ensure the completion of all phases of the   
   project lifecycle documents from analysis through implementation in   
   accordance with the agreed scope, schedules, and standards of quality for   
   assigned projects.   
      
      
      
   Throughout the assignment the Project Manager is responsible to assess   
   project release risk and to implement appropriate risk management/risk   
   mitigation strategies.  The functions to be performed by the Project Manager   
   include:   
      
      
      
   ·         Detailed project planning in support of a wide range SAP   
   application development and maintenance project, including the integration   
   of the Support Centres portfolio projects;   
      
   ·         Preparing project proposals including the development of, resource   
   estimates, benefits identification, risk assessment and Project Charters;   
      
   ·         Providing ongoing project direction, monitoring, management and   
   reporting during all phases of the application development; status   
      
   ·         Ensuring compliance with project scope and plans;   
      
   ·         Identifying where the project is not appropriately staffed with   
   the required skills and expertise;   
      
   ·         Providing support and leadership to Team Leaders and project teams   
   working under the direction of the Project Manager;   
      
   ·         Ensuring quality of deliverables;   
      
   ·         Following project policies, procedures and standards and ensuring   
   compliance;   
      
   ·         Providing knowledge transfer, as required   
      
      
      
      
      
   Qualifications:   
      
   ·         Minimum 8 years project management experience, including a minimum   
   of 5 years managing SAP projects   
      
   ·         Demonstrated experience managing HR projects required   
      
   ·         Demonstrated experience with ECC 6.0, Enterprise Portal, and BI   
   technologies definite asset   
      
   ·         Experience utilizing established project standards and practices   
   for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of business   
   applications   
      
   ·         SAP Certified in 2 or more modules/technologies; HR preferred
