   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are seeking a Cognos 8 developer to assist our client with an increase   
   demand fro report development/medication from their corporate data   
   warehouse. Our client is in the final stages of migrating to Cognos 8.3 and   
   their cubes are in PPES 7.4. Go -live will be within the next 6 weeks. Our   
   current production environment is a combination of Cognos ReportNet, Cognos   
   Connections, Impromptu and Upfront. Candidate will be working closely with   
   our client's BI Competency Centre team, with the current implementation   
   partner for their C8 migration and with business users. Individual will be   
   responsible for: 1) report development / modification; 2) cube development /   
   modification; 3) report development using the cube as a data source; 4)   
   expanding a Proof of Concept to Production BI application; 5) documentation   
   and knowledge transfer, mentoring to Branch staff; and 6) potential to   
   assist in migration/testing activities. To be considered for new   
   opportunity, candidates must have 3+ years of BI/reports development   
   experience with Cognos 8 and/or ReportNet. Any experience with Cube   
   Development / Modification and Framework Manager would be ideal.
