   Project Manager / Scheduler - DND   
      
        1.   Job Title:  Requirements Management Traceability / Schedule   
   Maintenance / Project Management Plan   
      
      
      
     2.. Work Description:  Incumbent must be able to be prepared to provide   
   PMO PE with stop-gap project management and engineering services, such as:   
      
      
                                    i.            Provide Project Schedule   
   maintenance for Environmental Sensing and Arctic Surveillance (Land) PE   
   project capabilities;   
      
                                  ii.            Integrate updated schedule   
   components into the master schedule;   
      
                                 iii.            Manage DOORS database   
   including co-ordinating between various deliverables to be integrated into   
   the tracing database, inputting various trace documents into DOORS, and   
   aiding project team members in building their deliverables for ease of   
   tracing;   
      
                                iv.            Assist monthly and quarterly   
   project reviews (scope, schedule, etc.) as required;   
      
                                  v.            Aid in updating Project   
   Management Plan material;   
      
                                vi.            Provide guidance to the project   
   team as required on project processes, quality, etc.;   
      
                               vii.            Plan and work with the Deputy   
   Project Manager as required (typically at project office).   
      
      
      
     3.. Contract Period:  26 May 2008 + 20 Weeks   
      
      
         4.   Location:  Consultant's Office   
      
      
      
         5.   Hours of work:  On an as required basis   
      
      
      
         6.   Contractor Qualifications:   
      
      
      
   a.                   Knowledge:   
      
                                                                              i.   
   Understands DND culture (worked with DND for a 3 yr period);   
      
                                                                            ii.   
   Detailed knowledge of DOORS application (has used DOORS on 3 or more   
   contracts dealing with Requirements Management traceability);   
      
                                                                           iii.   
   Practical experience with MS Project (used MS Project on 5 or more   
   projects);   
      
                                                                          iv.   
   Understanding of space and ground segment technology (worked on 2 or more   
   space based projects);   
      
                                                                            v.   
   Detailed understanding of the Project Approval process within DND (worked on   
   3 or more DND based projects in the PMO area); and   
      
                                                                          vi.   
   Understanding of the PMBOK (has participated in or executed all areas within   
   PMBOK on 1 or multiple projects);   
      
      
      
   c.         Language: English   
      
      
      
   d.         Security: Secret Clearance
