   Business Analyst - 1 Year Contract to start   
      
      
      
   Scope of Work   
      
      
      
   The role and responsibilities of this function are primarily facilitation   
   and assistance to others in support of the execution of their respective   
   responsibilities. The contractor shall provide the following services for   
   this  requirement:   
      
   a. Requirements gathering and requirements definition in support of improved   
   business processes and/or information systems.   
      
   b. Existing business process identification and modeling.   
      
   c. Perform opportunity analysis to identify areas to improve business   
   processes.   
      
   d. Provide recommendations to management, based on the analysis, to modify   
   and/or redesign and/or remove existing business processes and/or add new   
   business processes in support of efficient business operations.   
      
   e. Implementation of recommendations that lead to an improved business   
   model. (Improvements may be in the following areas: cost, resource,   
   organization, accountability of processes, measurability of processes,   
   elimination of process redundancies)   
      
   f. Provide recommendations to management, based upon the candidate's   
   analysis organizational changes and/or implementing organizational changes   
   approved by management.   
      
   g. Provide recommendations to management, based upon the candidate's   
   analysis, information system business requirements and/or modifying existing   
   business processes to effectively use implemented information systems   
   approved by management.   
      
      
      
   Deliverables   
      
      
      
   The Contractor shall produce deliverables as outlined below:   
      
   a. Deliverables shall be in the form of services provided to the TA in   
   accordance with this SOW and of products generated there of.   
      
   b. The schedule format and content of each deliverable shall be mutually   
   agreed to by the TA and Contractor in writing.   
      
   c. Documentation deliverables for this requisition shall be in hard copy and   
   electronic copy using MS Office suite of products including MS Visio. Some   
   documentation may require knowledge of BMC Remedy IT Service Management   
   tools.   
      
   d. Deliverables are to include documented processes, procedures and   
   templates, including process maps for ITIL Service Management models and/or   
   CMMI process improvement models as these are addressed by the implementation   
   of the LCM of T Groups operational systems.   
      
   Note that the primary responsibility of the consultant will be to assist and   
   support the Process Area experts in defining and documenting their   
   respective processes.   
      
   a. Monthly Progress reports and strategy meeting with the TA to plan process   
   improvement strategies, track progress, and evaluate risks affecting   
   deliverables.   
      
   b. Draft Process, Procedures and Templates for the following process are as:   
      
   1. Business Continuity Planning   
      
   2. Integrated Project Management   
      
   3. Incident management   
      
   4. Problem Management   
      
   5. Change Management   
      
   6. Configuration Management   
      
   7. Risk Management   
      
   8. Release Management   
      
   9. Process and Product Quality Assurance   
      
   c. Weekly Status Report: The contractor will report their activities and   
   progress in the form of an electronic status report and timesheet. The   
   contractor shall deliver verbal status reports as requested. Status reports   
   shall include risks related to deliverables.   
      
   1. Supplier Agreement Management   
      
   2. Service Level Agreements   
      
   3. Requirements Development   
      
   4. Validation   
      
   5. Organizational Process Focus   
      
   6. Organization Process Definition   
      
      
      
   Business Analyst - Experience   
      
      
      
   1. University degree at the Bachelor level in Engineering! Applied Science   
   in one of the following   
      
   disciplines: industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering; and   
      
      
      
   2. a minimum of three (3) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling   
   the role of a Business Process Analyst as defined in at least four of the   
   mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;   
      
      
      
   OR   
      
      
      
   3. University degree at the Bachelor level in Science, Mathematics, Business   
   Administration, Public Administration or Engineering! Applied Science in a   
   discipline other than in paragraph 1;   
      
      
      
   4. and a minimum of four (4) years in the last eight (8) years fulfilling   
   the role of a Business Case   
      
   Analyst as defined in at least four of the mandatory experience paragraphs   
   detailed herein;   
      
      
      
   OR   
      
      
      
   5. Community College Diploma in Engineering Technology, Business   
   Administration; and a   
      
   minimum of five (5) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the   
   role of a Business Process   
      
   Analyst as defined in at least four (4) of the mandatory experience   
   paragraphs detailed herein;   
      
      
      
   OR   
      
      
      
   6. A minimum of six (6) years in the last ten (10) years fulfilling the role   
   of a Business Process   
      
   Analyst as defined in at least four of the mandatory experience paragraphs   
   detailed herein;   
      
   The following information is required when claiming university or college   
   education to the above.   
      
   a. Name of Bachelor degree or community college diploma   
      
   b. Name of the institution that conferred the educational award   
      
   c. Location of the institution (including city and province/ state and   
   country)   
      
   d. Month and year of the award.   
      
      
      
   a. Experience in requirements gathering and requirements definition in   
   support of improved   
      
   business processes or information systems.   
      
   b. Experience in modeling and identification of existing business processes.   
      
   c. Experience in opportunity analysis to identify areas to improve business   
   processes   
      
   d. Experience providing recommendations to management, based on the analysis   
   by the candidate, to modify or redesign or remove existing business   
   processes or add new business processes in support of efficient business   
   operations   
      
   e. Experience in implementation of recommendations that lead to an improved   
   business model.   
      
   Improvements must be demonstrated in at least two of the following areas:   
   cost, resource,   
      
   organization, accountability of processes, measurement of processes or   
   elimination of process redundancies.   
      
   f. Experience in recommending to management, based upon the candidates   
   analysis, organizational   
      
   I changes or implementing organizational changes approved by management   
      
   g. Experience in recommending to management, based upon the candidate's   
   analysis, information   
      
   system business requirements or modifying existing business processes to   
   effectively use   
      
   I implemented information systems approved by management.   
      
   h. At least 2 years experience in development and facilitation of table top   
   exercises on Business   
      
   Continuity Planning. Must include co-developing the exercise scenario as   
   part of the design   
      
   team, facilitating the exercise by presenting the scenario, and ensuring the   
   exercise adheres to   
      
   established BCP objectives.   
      
   i. At least 3 Business Continuity Planning exercises (roles can be done   
   simultaneously   
      
   but must be within the last 5 years).   
      
   j. At least 18 months experience in the redesign and facilitation of   
   IT-related process   
      
   improvement best practices, frameworks, methodologies, standards,
