   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are seeking a consultant to assist our client with regulatory compliance   
   work that needs to be completed in adherence to the Financial Institutions &   
   Insurance Acts.  Individual will be responsible for classifying and   
   categorizing all of the information in the organization starting with: a)   
   structured database held information (i.e. in MS SQL Server, Oracle & DB2);   
   b) unstructured electronic data such as Excel spreadsheets, Word documents,   
   PowerPoint presentations, pdf files, etc. (created & stored in network   
   directories); and c) unstructured paper data such as the printed versions   
   for internal and external clients. In addition, candidate will be tasked   
   with: solidifying processes and helpful aids/documentation to encourage   
   employee compliance; identifying & documenting how unstructured electronic   
   data should be classified, used/accessed, and stored; and creating a form   
   for recording the risk analysis based on data classification for individual   
   systems and providing the baseline documentation. Our client has an array of   
   business systems which can pose some interesting challenges.   
      
   Required skills/qualifications:   
      
   Ideally we are seeking a candidate who has a strong technical background   
   with proficient SQL skills (i.e. query for & analyze data stored in RDMS)   
   and an understanding of how data is captured (UI), stored (RDMS), used   
   (accessed) and classified (level of security & encryption). To be effective   
   in this capacity, individual must have: the ability to work with and elicit   
   information from a diverse group of individuals ranging from technical,   
   management, to senior/executive management levels in a timely manner;   
   attention to detail; and be adept at "getting down to the facts" and   
   documenting pertinent information with tact and finesse.
