   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are currently seeking two QA/Testers to join our client's QA Team.  As a   
   member of the Data Networks division you must have strong technical skills   
   and hands on experience with the setup/testing of networking, wireless   
   and/or telephony products. Candidates will work on and provide advanced test   
   solutions to measure the performance capabilities and limitations of our   
   client's latest products, services, and test equipment used to develop and   
   analyze cutting-edge Internet technologies (i.e. converged internet &   
   services such as VoIP and IPTV). Individuals will: 1) Analyze functional   
   requirements and customer use scenarios in order to design test procedures   
   which verify that product quality meets company standards; 2) Design test   
   bed architectures using the industry's most sophisticated and powerful   
   carrier and access routers; 3) Implement test software that is incorporated   
   into automated test suites for functional and regression testing; 4) Develop   
   and execute detailed test plans and validation procedures; and 5)   
   Troubleshoot, characterize and report product variances from requirements in   
   order to improve product quality, reliability and performance - ultimately   
   leading to an improved product experience for our customer.   
      
   Required skills/qualifications:   
      
   The successful candidates will have 2+ years of experience testing   
   network/telephony equipment and be skilled in scripting languages such as   
   TCL/TK, Perl, UNIX shell, etc. Furthermore, candidates will have experience   
   with automation/validation tools ideally from the IBM Rational Suite. Strong   
   knowledge of internet protocols such as TCP/IP, IGMP, MLD, DHCP, PPPoX   
   and/or experience with router/switch architecture would be beneficial.   
   Individuals will have a solid understanding of the software development   
   lifecycle and QA best practices; a positive, proactive approach to problem   
   solving; and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
