   STATEMENT OF WORK: System Analyst/Network Services   
      
      
      
      
      
   1.0 REQUIRED RESOURCE   
      
      
      
   System Analyst/Network Services person to provide services on a full-time   
   basis for the period of the specified contract.   
      
      
      
   2.0 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE   
      
      
      
   The candidate must meet the following minimum requirements;   
      
   * Must have 10 to 15 years experience working in a network environment.   
      
   * Must have experience with Microsoft (MS) Windows 2003 server in an Active   
   Directory Environment.   
      
   * Must have experience with Intel based hardware.   
      
   * Must be knowledgeable in network protocols.   
      
   * Must have experience with UNIX based operating systems.   
      
   * Must have experience installing and supporting McAfee EPO.   
      
   * Experience installing and support Internet Monitoring software (i.e. Surf   
   Control and Websense).   
      
   * Experience with Intrusion Detection Software.   
      
   * Experience with the implementation and supporting of McAfee Foundstone.   
      
   * Must have experience with Checkpoint Firewalls.   
      
   * Experience with Nortel Ethernet switches and routers.   
      
      
      
      
      
   3.0 STATEMENT OF WORK   
      
      
      
   The IRB maintains a Wide Area Network (WAN), which is connected via LAN   
   Extension technology to our regional offices. In this environment we   
   currently have approximately 1200 workstations and 72 servers deployed. The   
   desktop operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional and the   
   network operating system is Windows 2003 server. As well the IRB also   
   maintains an Internet presence.   
      
      
      
   Network Services   
      
   * To provide technical support of the network infrastructure.   
      
   * Ability to complete technical documentation and implement 'change   
   management' processes for infrastructure upgradeslchanges to the IRB   
   network.   
      
   * Planning and implementing network hardware and software, as required.   
      
   * Provide Second to Third Level Technical Support to HQ and Regional systems   
   staff.   
      
      
      
      
      
   4.0 DELIVERABLES   
      
      
      
   The resource will be required to produce the following deliverables:   
      
      
      
   Develop project plan for the migration of the current implementation of Surf   
   Control to Websense.   
      
   1. Development a Microsoft Project plan outlining all of the project   
   milestones.   
      
   2. Develop technical documentation for the migration path to the new   
   platform/system.   
      
   3. Implement new platforrn/system using the technical documentation that has   
   been developed.   
      
      
      
      
      
   4.0 DELIVERABLES (continued)   
      
      
      
   Review current Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and develop migration path   
   to new IDS systemlplatform.   
      
   1. Review product that is currently in production and develop migration path   
   to new systemlplatform.   
      
   2. Create Microsoft Project plan with mile stones for the migration path to   
   the new system/platform.   
      
   3. Create technical documentation for the implementation of the new   
   system/platform.   
      
      
      
   Develop project plan for the implementation of McAfee EPO.   
      
   1. Development of a Microsoft Project plan outlining all of the project   
   milestones.   
      
   2. Develop technical documentation for the implementation of McAfee EPO into   
   the production environment.   
      
   3. Implement the EPO system into the production environment using technical   
   documentation developed.   
      
      
      
   Review current firewall infrastructure and provide technical review of   
   installation.   
      
      
      
   Provide technical support of the current network infrastructure.   
      
      
      
   Provide technical guidance and support to regional offices in network   
   related matters.   
      
      
      
   Complete documentation and diagrams if required of all work performed.   
      
      
      
   Complete a weekly status report as to tasks completed during the week as   
   well as goals for the upcoming week.   
      
      
      
   Other network activities that are not currently identified.   
      
      
      
      
      
   5.0 LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS   
      
      
      
   The proposed resource shall be able to provide services in English.   
      
      
      
      
      
   6.0 SECURITY CLEARANCE   
      
      
      
   The proposed candidate will require security clearance of Secret for this   
   position.
