   Mandatory Experience:   
      
      
      
   ·         Significant** experience in strategic and corporate planning or   
   project management.   
      
   ·         Significant experience supervising employees and teams.   
      
   ·         Experience providing advice to middle and senior management.   
      
   ·         Experience preparing and coordinating processes.   
      
   ·         Experience working for an SOA.   
      
      
      
   ** Significant: a minimum of two out of the last five years.   
      
      
      
   Mandatory education, knowledge and abilities:   
      
      
      
   ·         Undergraduate degree from a recognized university with acceptable   
   specialization in economics, sociology (social sciences included) or   
   statistics. Graduate degree would be an asset.   
      
   ·         Knowledge of theories, methods and techniques related to strategic   
   and corporate planning.   
      
   ·         Extensive knowledge of how SOAs and revolving funds work.   
      
   ·         Knowledge of theories and practices related to government   
   accountability and planning.   
      
   ·         Knowledge and theories of performance measurement   
      
   ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.   
      
   ·         Able to ensure that projects and people in the unit align with the   
   direction of the sector.   
      
   ·         Able to incorporate organizational changes into projects.   
      
   ·         Sound judgment and good decision-making skills in the face of   
   demanding and stressful situations.   
      
   ·         Able to ensure that projects are consistent with organizational   
   and public service values.   
      
   ·         Excellent interpersonal skills.
