   PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATOR, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT R&D to $55K Toronto   
      
   One of our Pharmaceutical clients is currently searching for a   
   FORMULATOR, Product Development.  this position will be reporting into   
   the Director of R&D and the purpose of this role will be to develop the   
   formula and process for new products followed by scale-up and process   
   validation.   
      
   Responsibilities include preparation of experimental formulations which   
   will include sourcing new raw materials, preparing small developmental   
   batches, and designing experiments to support the final formulation   
   process.  Scale up of experimental batches which would include the   
   manufacture and the packaging of exhibit batches and the manufacture of   
   commercially sized pre-validation batches.  Documentation and report   
   writing is crucial and would include documentation of the experimental   
   process, problems and observations and preparation of documents for   
   manufacturing and packaging.   
      
   Should have a M.Sc. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Ph.D. with a   
   minimum of one year experience in formulation development or a B.Sc. or   
   Community College with three years experience in Semi Solid and Liquid   
   Formulation development. Good working knowledge of Semi-solid is needed   
   to formulate the products, thus a solid Chemistry background and the   
   ability to design, implement and evaluate experiments is a serious   
   asset. A solid understanding of GMP's and spreadsheet programs is   
   required in order to write technical reports.   
   Salary: $50K-$55K.
