   Microtime is looking for a senior consultant for a new government position.   
   Our client requires assistance with strategic planning for stakeholder   
   outreach and advocacy (community relations).  Tasks will include assistance   
   with conceiving, planning, managing, and implementing strategic stakeholder   
   outreach and advocacy products and tools; the preparation of briefing   
   materials and materials for meetings; and, enhancement of the CHPI's   
   practical skills to enable change in this major transformation project.   
      
   Qualifications:   
      
   The successful candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in:   
   -Dealing with sensitive Government of Canada major transformation projects;   
   -Developing project positioning;   
   -Dealing with issues management on multi-stakeholder initiatives (different   
   levels of government, private sector participation, foreign governments);   
   -Preparing material and stakeholder risk analysis for consideration by   
   central agencies, in briefings to the Deputy Minister and Minister, and at   
   interdepartmental senior management meetings;   
   -Preparing and facilitating consultations/round tables  with senior   
   management, key stakeholders (including public stakeholders and private   
   sector stakeholders), committees, networks, other departments and other   
   levels of government;   
   -Participating in meetings with senior management and ministerial staff;   
   -Providing detailed issues management advice to senior management;   
   -Preparing presentation decks for Ministers and senior officials;   
   -Assessing major corporate issues and initiatives from the perspectives of   
   internal and external environments;   
   -Working as part of an interdisciplinary team and dealing collaboratively   
   with departmental corporate communications; and,   
   -Translating technical information into simple and compelling concepts and   
   messages.
