   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are seeking three Checkpoint Firewall Consultants to work on a number of   
   firewall initiatives to: optimize Smart Defense; optimize security rule   
   sets; develop historical database of traffic logs exported daily from   
   SmartView Tracker; review network zoning strategy; assist with software   
   upgrades and resolution of system failures; and other system enhancements   
   related to network security.   
      
   Required skills/qualifications:   
      
   To be considered, candidates must have 6+ years of network security   
   experience and extensive experience with a variety of Checkpoint FW-1 NGX   
   firewall implementations including the Nokia IP560 and IP690 and current   
   IPSO versions.  CheckPoint CCSE-NGX certification is required.  In addition,   
   individuals must demonstrate proficiency in the following: 1) Database   
   application design for transaction log archival from Tracker; 2)   
   Transitioning from a single data center to a multiple data center   
   environment; 3) Multi-entry-point distributed redundant architectures   
   IDS/IPS; 4) Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment & Defense In-Depth Best   
   Practices; 5) Network Infrastructure & Linux Systems Hardening; 6)   
   Operational Support Systems Design; 7) Network Management Incident Response,   
   Network Auditing and Troubleshooting; and/or 8) Network and Application   
   Performance Analysis. Asset: current with industry best practices and CISSP   
   Certification.
