   Position: Corporate Application Project Lead / Manager

   Scope of work/responsibilities:   
      
   We are seeking a candidate who has experience leading or managing corporate   
   applications, specifically JD Edwards (JDE).  Candidate will provide   
   technical leadership of JD Edwards for both support and project needs.  This   
   would be an ideal environment for individuals who have experience managing a   
   small team responsible for support, maintenance as well as enhancements to   
   and introduction of new applications (i.e. for an internal IT department).   
   As part of the IT management team, candidate will plan, lead, organize,   
   control and measure all elements critical to the success of IT (e.g.   
   strategy, budgets, resources, operations and projects).   
      
   Required skills/qualifications:   
      
   To be considered, candidate must have 4+ years of related experience (i.e.   
   managing/leading a small corporate applications team), coupled with strong   
   people management/mentoring skills.  Candidate must have ability to apply   
   practical project management best practices to facilitate the successful   
   delivery of projects to the business units and communicate effectively,   
   oral, written & presentation wise. Candidate will ensure that the support   
   for existing systems is delivered in a proactive and service-oriented manner   
   and that current systems are integrated efficiently to yield optimal   
   business value.   
      
   We will consider candidates with the following profile:   
   1) Individuals with advanced JD Edwards (JDE) experience/knowledge and have   
   worked at minimum in the capacity as a Project Lead, Team Lead, or Manager.   
   2) Individuals who have a strong technical background - previous experience   
   as a developer (.NET technologies) and have had JDE experience or similar   
   experience with other ERP systems.  If you have a strong technical   
   background but no specific JDE experience, the ability to quickly understand   
   the JDE tables, structure, and to provide guidance in general   
   troubleshooting/support issues as well as on upgrades/enhancements projects   
   would be key.
